Are you ready for the first annual Maker Faire NWA? The folks here at the Fayetteville Public Library sure are! With the launch of the newly expanded library we thought it would be a great time to bring together the best makers that this region has to offer and highlight all the amazing projects that this area inspires. If you think Maker Faire is not for you, then it’s time to think again. Maker Faire NWA is for the musicians, visual artists, hobbyists, wood workers, metal manipulators, robotics aficionados, crafters, writers, builders, and more! For Maker Faire NWA we plan on featuring a From Maker to Marketplace vendor area for those looking to sell their creations, an outdoor stage for live music, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, keynote speakers and so much more.
Saturday October 8th is the BIG event! Excitement will abound for all ages as we feature local musicians, workshops, From Maker to Marketplace vendor area, panel discussions, and a keynote speaker that will blow your socks off.
Our Call for Makers is currently open and is scheduled to run until September, so get applications in now. And of course, this event could not be possible without our sponsors, so please consider becoming a sponsor of this (soon to be) annual event. We can’t wait to welcome you to the Fayetteville Public Library.
